Roy VanArtsdalen
Roy VanArtsdalen born and raised in Lindenwold, NJ with his grandparents started in the Mortgage Industry in 2006 when one of the sponsors he was playing ball for thought that he could excel in the business. It turned out he was right, and he can't imagine doing anything else all thanks to Sal, may he Rest in Peace. Roy was working for Citizens Bank as a manager when a guy he trained years before called him about solely getting back into the mortgage business. Roy has learned that hard work, dedication and communication are the keys to success in this industry. Roy loves everything about this business. From working with clients, realtors to his own team. Every day is different. He mainly loves seeing the faces of clients at the closing table, when asked he stated "Seeing the smiles on their faces or the joyful tears is everything. Being a part of that journey with them, that's what it's all about." Roy describes his career as Hard Work, Rewarding and Relentless. In his spare time Roy loves to play golf pretty much to the point where it has become his obsession. When it comes to traveling Roy loves to go to Disney or Florida in general. He immediately feels relaxed once he gets off the plane in Florida. When growing up Roy wanted to be a professional baseball player but due to tearing all of the ligaments in his shoulder, he was not able to make that dream become a reality. Roy's favorite sports teams are Phillies, Red Sox, Eagles, Flyers and 76'ers.

Tips for anyone looking to join the mortgage industry:
I think for anyone looking to get into the business they need to fully commit and have patience. Too many people get into this job with unrealistic expectations and are out of the business quickly. Work with a company and manager that can help you navigate the business in all aspects. Set realistic goals and expectations! Don’t quit, be a sponge and keep pushing forward. When I am looking to add guys to the team, work ethic, and communication are two things I look at most. I can help you learn the business and all that it brings, but you can’t teach work ethic. Jason Mangel-Marin
Jason Mangel-Marin born and raised in South Jersey where he currently still resides. Jason joined The VanArtsdalen Group in 2021 when a realtor of which he currently works with mentioned an opportunity for a Spanish Speaking Lender position that opened up. Since joining the mortgage industry Jason has learned that constant communication is key, the lack of communication can easily cause you to lose the trust of a client in this industry. Jason enjoys being able to help families accomplish the goal of home ownership. If Jason could describe his career in three words they would be Rewarding, Educating and Empowering. In his spare time Jason enjoys spending time with his wife (Jaimilee) and two children (Jace & Jailee) as well as cooking, going to concerts and traveling. Jason's favorite travel destination is La Romana, Dominican Republic where he also got married as well. When growing up, Jason always wanted to be a business owner. Not exactly sure of what kind of business exactly but he wanted to be able to have financial freedom and flexibility. Jason's favorite sports teams are The Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia 76'ers.
Tips for anyone looking to join the mortgage industry:
If you decide to join the mortgage industry, don't get discouraged there are days where everything is smooth sailing and then days where you begin to question your decision, but you have to keep on pushing and get through the obstacles. The reward at the end is always worth the struggle.

Curt Reger
​
Curt Reger born and raised in Deptford, NJ entered the mortgage industry in 2010 as a Branch Manager for a Credit Union where he also did Mortgage Consultations. In 2021 he then became a Loan Officer Assistant for a Mortgage Company. Throughout the years he heard about Roy and his great reputation and that is what led Curt to join the team to further his Mortgage Career as a Loan Officer. Curt enjoys his ability to make his clients feel comfortable about making one of the largest purchases of their life. In his spare time, Curt enjoys watching, playing and coaching hockey as well as spending time with his wife (Kim) son (Tyler), son (Jaxon) and his 16 yr. old Italian Greyhound (Chewie). Curt’s favorite vacation destination is the Jersey Shore in fact, when growing up his dream was to one day own a business down at the shore. Curt’s favorite sports teams are the Flyers, Sixers, Eagles and Phillies.
